Over 100 members and guests attended The Prime Timers of Phoenix Holiday Party on Saturday, December 3, 2016. Special thanks to Pete Urbaniak and his right-hand man, Dan Stickney, for coordinating this fabulous event.

At the December 9, 2016 PTOP Board Meeting, the directors decided to set aside $1,200 from the $4,000 Woody Baldwin endowment to give monthly donations to local charitable organizations during 2017. In January, the Joshua Tree Feeding Program will receive the first $100 donation. They have been feeding the HIV/AIDS community in Metro, Phoenix since 1988. The Southwest Center for HIV/AIDS (with the mission to reduce infection, improve the quality of life, and contribute to worldwide research) will receive the second donation in February. In March, Aunt Rita's Foundation will receive the third donation. Their mission statement: "In everything we do, we are dedicated to the elimination of, and suffering from HIV and AIDS." The other nine donations will be determined at upcoming meetings.
