San Antonio Aids Foundation awarded San Antonio Prime Timers the volunteer of the year. In 2006, Prime Timers Paul Walthall and others started providing deserts every Thursday as SAAF did not have money for deserts in their program. Over the years the chapter raised money and made in kind donations, such as new underwear, kitchen equipment, and canned food.
